Pastor Betty Gilliam (Senior Pastor) Born in North Little Rock, Arkansas, but moved to Cabot, Arkansas at age 5. Cabot has been my main place of residence until about 1995 when we moved to Jacksonville, Arkansas. We raised our five girls in Cabot where I taught for several years in the Cabot Public School system as well as counseled in the Middle School before resigning to build Faith Christian Center Church with my husband, Gene Gilliam, in 1984.
We have been married for 45 wonderful years. Counseled in the private sector for several years and gave that up to give Godly/prayer counsel through the church instead. I conduct inner healing workshops locally and in other states and countries.
We established the School of Healing and Restoration where people receive healing: spiritually, emotionally, and physically every Monday night. Co-hosted the weekly television program “Life Worth Living” for 7 years. Established Faith Christian Bible Training Center and Central Arkansas Bible College.
I have earned a BSE degree in secondary education and an MS in counseling from UCA, a MA degree in Pastoral Ministry from ORU as well as completing their School of Healing. I have a PsyD from Graduate Theological Foundation in South Bend, Indiana. I have also completed course work in the Divinity PhD program at Regent University in Renewal Studies in Church History/theology. I have also studied church history and theology at Oxford University in Oxford, England for three summers. I was the first person to teach any counseling course in any university in Bulgaria. I taught at ASWE (now Agape College) in Little Rock, Arkansas for several years. I have traveled in Mexico and several countries in Europe teaching/preaching and conducting workshops. Taught two years at the International Convention of Faith Ministers East Africa Convention.
However, my best accomplishment is that I have five beautiful daughters that I adore.
